A grain of wheat
Part 4 of the Two Witnesses Series
The church age began with one Man, Jesus, operating as two witnesses. The church age ends with millions of people, the worshipers, operating as two witnesses for three and a half years.
John 12:24 Truly, truly, I say to you, unless a grain of wheat falls into the earth and dies, it remains alone; but if it dies, it bears much fruit.
Jesus was one man but because He died and rose again, He bears much fruit. Seeds reproduce the same life as the plant they come from. The two witness company at the end of the age will not be one man, but many. It will be the final fulfillment of Jesus bearing much fruit. Jesus did nothing He did not see the Father do. The worshipers will operate just like Jesus did. They will do nothing they do not see the Holy Spirit doing.
The Spirit and the Bride
Rev 22:16 “I, Jesus, have sent My angel to testify to you these things for the churches. I am the root and the descendant of David, the bright morning star.” 17 The Spirit and the bride say, “Come.”
The book of Revelation ends with the Spirit and the bride saying come. Once again, the bride is one witness, and the Spirit is the second witness. The pure and spotless bride is the culmination of all the things that take place in the last days, but she does not speak only for herself. The Holy Spirit also speaks, and they call for the return of Jesus to establish the kingdom on the earth. May we always follow the Holy Spirit and call for the return of the Lord to the earth. Amen.
