200 Million Horsemen

Two Hundred Million Horsemen

Part 21 of the Two Witnesses Series

Rev 9:13 Then the sixth angel sounded, and I heard a voice from the four horns of the golden altar which is before God, 14 one saying to the sixth angel who had the trumpet, “Release the four angels who are bound at the great river Euphrates.” 15 And the four angels, who had been prepared for the hour and day and month and year, were released, so that they would kill a third of mankind. 16 The number of the armies of the horsemen was two hundred million; I heard the number of them. 17 And this is how I saw in the vision the horses and those who sat on them: the riders had breastplates the color of fire and of hyacinth and of brimstone; and the heads of the horses are like the heads of lions; and out of their mouths proceed fire and smoke and brimstone. 18 A third of mankind was killed by these three plagues, by the fire and the smoke and the brimstone which proceeded out of their mouths. 19 For the power of the horses is in their mouths and in their tails; for their tails are like serpents and have heads, and with them they do harm.
20 The rest of mankind, who were not killed by these plagues, did not repent of the works of their hands, so as not to worship demons, and the idols of gold and of silver and of brass and of stone and of wood, which can neither see nor hear nor walk; 21 and they did not repent of their murders nor of their sorceries nor of their immorality nor of their thefts.

The four angels release two hundred million horsemen. These horsemen kill one third of mankind!

Rev 9:16 The number of the armies of the horsemen was two hundred million; I heard the number of them.

Out of their mouths come fire and smoke and brimstone. Remember our verse about the two witnesses.

Rev 11:5 And if anyone wants to harm them, fire flows out of their mouth and devours their enemies; so if anyone wants to harm them, he must be killed in this way.

The two witness company of overcomers in chapter 11 is the 200 million horsemen in chapter 9. They are one and the same. They are the second woe.

Who are these horsemen killing?

Rev 9:20 The rest of mankind, who were not killed by these plagues, did not repent of the works of their hands, so as not to worship demons, and the idols of gold and of silver and of brass and of stone and of wood, which can neither see nor hear nor walk; 21 and they did not repent of their murders nor of their sorceries nor of their immorality nor of their thefts.

They are killing the unbelievers who are persecuting the church. They are killing those who worship demons and idols. They are killing those who murder, commit sorceries, commit immorality and steal. Verse five says the two witnesses are killing their enemies. They are killing the followers of the beast.

There are approximately 2.5 billion Christians on the earth in 2021. If there are 200 million overcomers, then that is around one overcomer for every 12 Christians. More simply, there are 200 million in the church of Philadelphia and 2.3 billion in the church of Laodicea. Throughout church history there has always been the remnant that did not compromise the Word of God and did not deny His Name.

Let’s go back to Revelation chapter 12 and the woman that gives birth to the male child.

Rev 12:13 And when the dragon saw that he was thrown down to the earth, he persecuted the woman who gave birth to the male child. 14 But the two wings of the great eagle were given to the woman, so that she could fly into the wilderness to her place, where she was nourished for a time and times and half a time, from the presence of the serpent. 15 And the serpent poured water like a river out of his mouth after the woman, so that he might cause her to be swept away with the flood. 16 But the earth helped the woman, and the earth opened its mouth and drank up the river which the dragon poured out of his mouth.

Remember, the woman is the bulk of the church in the last days. The child that is caught up to God and to His throne are the overcomers, the 200-million-man army of the Lord. The woman is persecuted by the serpent. He pours water like a flood out of his mouth after the woman, but the earth helps the woman and drinks up the river.

It could very well be that the flood of water, in this picture, is the serpent’s army, the people in all the cities of the nations that have aligned themselves with Satan. They may be the ones who worship demons and are murderers and who do not repent.

The earth helps the woman and opens its mouth and drinks up the flood which comes out of the serpent’s mouth. The earth, in this picture, may be the 200 million horsemen who kill a third of mankind. They kill the dragon’s people who are trying to kill the Christians as they flee to the wilderness. The evil, demonic horde are in all the cities of the nations, spiritual Babylon. The woman is attempting to flee the cities into the wilderness, the rural areas, where she has a place prepared for her, where she is nourished for three and a half years. The Lord’s army helps the woman and attacks the dragon’s army and consumes them with fire from their mouths. By the time it is over the Lord’s army, the two witnesses, those who are granted authority and power, kill a third of mankind. Over two and half billion people are devoured. Is it any wonder this is called the second woe? Is it any wonder that the whole world celebrates when the two witnesses are killed?
