Syrian President Assad Interview

October 31, 2019 Interview with Syrian President Assad: Assad says that Russia intervention in Syria moderates Turkish ambitions. Russia has helped Syria to push back Turkish supported Al-Qaeda rebels out of Hamah province and back into Idlib province but Russia says that they are withdrawing military operations in Syria. With the Turkish invasion in northeastern Syria and the strong Turkish military presence in Idlib; Syria will fold like a wet paper napkin if Turkey decides to advance from Idlib. And Turkey will advance. Jeremiah 49:23-27 tells us all about it.
Jeremiah 49:23 Concerning Damascus. Hamath is confounded, and Arpad: for they have heard evil tidings: they are fainthearted; there is sorrow on the sea; it cannot be quiet.
Assad says that Turkish President Erdogan is a thief stealing factories and land. Turkey has already colonized much of northwestern Syria.
Assad says that patriotism is the solution to unite Syria as a nation and together resist foreign invasion. That’s a tall order because Syria has a large Sunni Muslim population that welcomes the Turkish invasion and Syria also has a large Kurdish population that seeks its own nation. Syria also has a large Bedouin population that does not participate in Syrian schools or military.
Assad and the Syrian Army have done a pretty good job bringing much of Syria back under government control and protection from foreign Sunni Muslim Al-Qaeda groups supported by Turkey. Now after eight years of fighting the weary Syrian Army faces another major foreign invasion by the Turkish Army. The Bible tells us that Syria will lose and that Syria’s capital Damascus will be destroyed.
Syrian President Assad maintain his view that Israel is an enemy state but also recognizes that Syria faces a real foreign invasion by the Turkish Army. I think that Assad is trying to do what is best for his country but must struggle against a overpowering invasion from Turkey. On top of that Syria’s allies are retreating.
